1. General Information

Wags2Walkies provides professional dog walking, puppy checks, and pet transport services. By booking any service with Wags2Walkies, you (the “Client”) agree to the terms and conditions set out below.

2. Care and Responsibility

  • Wags2Walkies will care for your pet(s) with the highest level of attention, compassion, and professionalism.

  • While every effort is made to ensure your dog’s safety, Wags2Walkies cannot be held liable for any injury, loss, or death of a pet that occurs beyond our control.

  • Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, flea, and worm treatments. Proof of vaccination may be requested.

  • Dogs must be microchipped and wear a secure collar with an ID tag containing the owner’s details (as required by UK law).

3. Behaviour and Health

  • The Client must disclose any behavioural issues, medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements before services commence.

  • Wags2Walkies reserves the right to refuse or terminate service if a dog shows aggressive behaviour, is unwell, or poses a risk to themselves or others.

  • In the event of illness or injury, Wags2Walkies will contact the Client immediately and, if necessary, transport the dog to the nearest veterinary practice. The Client agrees to cover any veterinary costs incurred.

4. Walks and Care Services

  • Solo Dog Walks are provided on a one-to-one basis, tailored to the dog’s individual needs and abilities.

  • Dogs will only be walked off-lead with the Client’s written consent and only in safe, suitable areas.

  • Puppy Checks include feeding, playtime, toilet breaks, and basic clean-up as agreed.

  • Pet Transport Services are carried out in a safe, fully insured vehicle. Pets will be securely transported to and from appointments.

5. Bookings and Payments

  • All bookings must be made in advance via phone, email, or the Wags2Walkies website.

  • Payment is due at the time of booking or as agreed in writing.

  • Block bookings and regular clients may be invoiced weekly or monthly.

  • Prices are subject to change, but clients will always be notified in advance.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made with 24 hours’ notice or more will not incur a charge.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

  • If Wags2Walkies must cancel a booking (e.g. due to illness or extreme weather), an alternative time will be offered or a full refund provided.

7. Keys and Security

  • Clients who provide keys for home access agree that Wags2Walkies will store them securely and not label them with identifiable information.

  • Keys will only be used to access the property for agreed services.

  • Wags2Walkies accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to property unless caused by proven negligence.

8. Insurance and Liability

  • Wags2Walkies is fully insured for public liability and pet care services.

  • Every reasonable precaution will be taken to ensure pets and property remain safe at all times.

  • The Client remains responsible for any damage or injury caused by their pet to third parties, other animals, or property.

9. GDPR & Privacy Policy

  • Wags2Walkies complies fully with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.

  • Personal information collected (such as name, address, contact details, and pet information) is used solely for the purpose of providing pet care services and maintaining accurate client records.

  • Client data will never be shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties unless required by law or with the Client’s explicit consent.

  • All electronic data is stored securely and password-protected. Physical documents (e.g. keys, written forms) are kept in secure storage.

  • Clients have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data at any time by contacting Wags2Walkies.

  • Wags2Walkies may use photographs or updates of pets on social media or promotional materials, but only with the Client’s consent (which can be withdrawn at any time).

10. Photos and Social Media

  • Wags2Walkies may take photos of dogs during walks or visits for use on social media or marketing materials.

  • Clients can opt out at any time by notifying Wags2Walkies in writing.

11. Agreement

By booking with Wags2Walkies, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, including the Privacy Policy outlined above.
